WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You will join the Boards & Systems Software team (10 people) which is responsible for the development of low-level embedded software for Kalray solutions. Kalray designs its own innovative boards for Kalray’s MPPA processor with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, DDR) which are used for demonstration and production.
As a Board test and product engineer you will interact with both hardware and software teams to design and develop tests for Kalray boards manufacturing and validation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test benches and functional tests for board manufacturing/validation
- Define software requirements for test implementation
- Participate to board design and define the testability requirements
- Follow and support board manufacturing.
- Interact with Kalray R&D teams and subcontractors
- Occasional trips can be expected
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Skills:
- Great knowledge in software development for hardware validation
- Experience with test frameworks (ex: Robot Framework)
- Good understanding of electronic schematics and industrialisation processes
- Familiar with Linux system environment, Git, Makefile, scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby)
- C programming and debugging skills for embedded systems would be a bonus
Profile:
- Graduate Engineer or PhD in Embedded Software or equivalent
- 8+ years in software and test development
- Experience in product industrialization would be highly appreciated
- Great commitment to support board manufacturing
- Enjoy collaborative work, being flexible and autonomous
- Proficient in English, written and spoken
CONTRACT INFORMATION:
- Type of contract: Permanent contract (CDI)
- Starting date: As soon as possible
- Location: Montbonnot-Saint-Martin
