To support our growth, we are recruiting a System Validation Engineer for our Datacenter LAB. Join the adventure!
POSITION
If you are familiar with datacenter ecosystem, storage solutions and Linux environments you will have the background needed for this job.
In addition, if you are rigorous, curious, with team spirit and then you have the personal skills we are seeking.
We expect you to work and contribute to the quality and performance of our storage solutions based on NVMe and NVMe-OF.
Your knowledge on datacenter and storage solutions will help our team to improve the quality of our products. You will be in charge of:
- Run and automate tests of our storage solutions.
- Define and run several benchmark scenarios to demonstrate the power of our storage solutions.
- Build infrastructure for real use cases datacenter scenarios to run applicative benchmarks to show the added value of our storage products.
CANDIDATE
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing or integrating data center systems, network or storage appliances.
Skills
- Solution oriented person with written skills in English
- Knowledge of the technical challenges and solutions for data centers
- Knowledge of storage appliance architectures and related protocols and standards (like FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, NVMe-oF…) and networking infrastructures
- Good skills on Linux systems usage and administration are mandatory, virtualization environments such as VMware, KVM will be appreciated.
- Understanding of distributed computing, distributed filesystems like CEPH will be a plus
- Practice of scripting languages (like Bash, Python…) for automation
- Cloud computing platforms and technologies like OpenStack, Nutanix, Kubernetes will be a plus.
